Sarah Nolan

Clinical Therapist
Licensed Psychological Practitioner

“I never had time for emotions/feelings. Life has taught me to stuff them down and not deal with them."
“I’ve never had time for myself. Most of my life is spent on the needs and wishes of other people.”
"I've experienced so much trauma in my life, and it scares me to think about what the healing process will be like."

Do any of these statements resonate with you? I have interacted with many clients over the years who have all said something similar to the statements above. All of these persons share in common that life in some way has taught them to carry it all, be the strong one, be the one others depend on, and/or healing is scary when you have never experienced it or thought it was possible for you. It is to these statements and beliefs that I say, it is NEVER too late to feel, heal, and/or find empowerment! Throughout the therapy process, I value empowering the client to identify and work through their own goals while respecting each person's background and identities. If you are ready to take the vulnerable and brave step towards healing and discovering your authentic self, then I am excited to help you start your journey! I am a therapist who values being authentic, and I utilize an eclectic blend of modalities to help you achieve your goals (predominantly CBT, EMDR, Internal Family Systems). I specialize in anxiety, worry/overwhelm, low self-worth/esteem, PTSD (emphasis in sexual violence and intimate partner violence), emotional numbness/detachment, attachment wounds/repair, and complex trauma related dissociation.  Clients would describe me as compassionate, not afraid to dig deep or challenge, and fully dedicated to support your empowered healing process.
